Tupelo Designs LLC - Boo Halloween Bear

Hands down my favorite holiday is Halloween!  I love it all from gothic - think dark and glamorous,  to cutsie friendly witches and ghosts.  Good news!  Tupelo Designs LLC has Halloween supplies that appeal to all every style!  You can see the Halloween selection in the store here.

Today I'm playing with Waffle Flower's Boo Stamp Set.   This is a small 3x4" stamp set, but it has everything you need to make fun cards.  Of course there is a coordinating die set (Waffle Flower Boo Coordinating Die.) that make creating scenes a breeze.  The Boo sentiment was cut using the My Favorite Things Stitched Fishtail Flags.

I think Mr. Bear needs a diet, because EEK!  His broom just broke!  I love the little bats looking on with curious expressions!   There are only two bats in the set.  I cut the larger one several times.  The moon is created with simple circle die cuts.

The pretty background papers are from Pebbles Midnight Haunting 6" pad.  I made three cards a few weeks ago and still have lots of paper left for more!   The finishing touch is a few star shaped sequins that you can find in the Queen and Co. Sequin Toppings.

Want to go shopping?  You can get a jump on your Halloween projects with the great selection in the store!  I love that I can find my favorite brands, and of course there is free shipping every day with no coupon required (USA only).   I sure hope you give them a try -  I think you'll be glad you did.

Pretty Little Studio Trick Or Treat

I'm seriously loving the Pretty Little Studio NEW Goosebumps Collection! It's everything you want for Halloween - orange and black with a twist of baby blue and navy! You'll find cats and bats, and everything that makes you shiver and get GOOSEBUMPS!
There's lots of embellishments available in this collection so you can select just the right images for your designs. I started my layout with the Trick Or Treat tag from the Ghost Town Die Cuts package. It takes center stage and all the other elements work around it. This tag is printed with just a sentiment. I added the Witch's Brew bat die cut with adhesive foam tape to add dimension.
The laboratory beaker die cut with the poison symbol is from the Spooktastic die cut pack.
I added a spray of stars and sequins bubbling up from the flask. The sequins add some shine and the stars add a magical element to the design.
To add a little weight to the design I added a black "happy halloween" sentiment from the Spellbound Cut Aparts sheet. The black brings balance to the design and grounds the tag so it doesn't look like it's floating.
Hoping you have the best Halloween ever!

Poppystamps and Buttons Galore and More Blog Hop!

Have you heard? Poppystamps is hopping with Buttons Galore and More! If you're hopping along you should have reached me from May Flaum's blog. If you'd like to start at the beginning and get all the details you can do that here at the Poppystamps Blog.

Poppystamps makes beautiful intricate dies, and paired up with the beautiful buttons, embellishments and sequin blends at Buttons Galore it's a match made in heaven!

I made a few things so let's get started!

Who doesn't love a shaker card?  The background is a watercolor in oranges and yellows, topped with dies from Poppystamps and buttons and sequins from the Buttons and Galore.

The Diamond Background is framed with the Memory Box Wrapped Stitch Rectangle.

The window is topped with Stitched Oak and Stitched Maple leaves and a simple "Thanks" sentiment.

The eye candy is all the pretty buttons and embellishments from Buttons Galore and More.  Candy Corn Embellishment Bottle.  It includes buttons, sequins, half pearls and mini beads.  I have food ornaments in the kitchen at Christmas, and I like to have craft themed ornaments in my craft space to keep things merry and bright!

The sequin and button blends are so beautiful that I have them displayed in my craft room.  I can always reach for a bottle and pour through them until I find the right shade or size.

I thought the blend would be total eye candy in a clear ornament I picked up at the craft store.  I filled up this Christmas one with Buttons Galore and More Yuletide Greetings Embellishment Bottle, and Holiday Wreath Premium Sequins.  The Poppystamps dies include the Stitched Poinsettia Trio, Perfect Pine Needles, and Holly Leaf Branch.

I thought I'd make another one for Halloween too.  This one has the Candy Corn Embellishment Bottle blend inside.
I started with a black bow and topped it with silver cut Twisted Oak Branches, and purple cut pine twigs and the Bat Ring die.  If I can part with either one of these I know a few folks who would love these!

Fusion Card Challenge - Sunny Days

I hope you're having a great day!  There's a new challenge beginning at Fusion Card Challenge that I think you're going to want to try!  Fusion is a great place to play!  I love that I can work with just the SKETCH or just the PHOTO!  Sometimes I'm feeling clever, like today and I'll try to FUSE them both together!   Here's the challenge this time!

So what do you love about this? I really liked the sun breaking through the clouds on the photo, and the stripes on the sketch got me thinking about rainbows... here's what I made!

I created the rainbow with the new Pretty Pink Posh Stacked Edges One die set.  The set includes three different dies that stack together perfectly.  This one is a swoosh design.  I love the pretty stitched edges.

The die cut clouds are from the Rainy Days coordinating die cut set.  The sentiment is from the Rainy Days Stamp Set
The sun peeking through the clouds takes the place of the circle on the sketch.  A few clear Droplets look like rain!

Want to see more designs inspired by this sketch/photo?   The Fusion Challenge Design Team will knock you're socks off.  You can see designs from the team and link up your own projects here at the Fusion Card Challenge

The Card Concept - Oh Baby!

Oh Baby indeed!  A wonderful new challenge at The Card Concept this time!  Total pastel goodness!   Check out the inspiration photo!
I love the soft pastel colors.. blue, yellow, green, pink, peach.. yes please!  And that cute little striped shirt with the "1" on it?  Adorable!  Yep!  I have to play along!

I decided on a card for baby with lots of different papers in pastels from the Pebbles Lullaby collection!  It's got so many pretty prints.. duckies, safety pins, florals, plaids.  I had lots of fun mixing and matching.. and oh yes!  Some pink stripes too!

I'm using lots of goodies from Reverse Confetti Today!

The XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts is a great embellishment all year round!

I scattered round star die cuts from the Circle Wishes (it'a a mini version of the one in the Seeing Stars Confetti Cuts).  I kept them solid because the pattern paper background was too busy with the stars removed.

I cut a few extra in silver to add a little sparkle to my card.  The cute onesie is from the Cute as A Button stamp set.  Of course it has a coordinating die cut - and no coloring required.  Just stamp it in your favorite shade of ink.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit!  I hope you have a great day!
